Finding Your Way at The Airport: Anchorage and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Yakutia Airlines’ flights from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky depart weekly from the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, North Terminal. Click Here to view the detailed schedule.

The airport has two terminals:

  • South Terminal – handles all domestic flights and some outbound international flights.
  • North Terminal (International Terminal) – handles international flights, including all Yakutia Airlines flights.

The North and South terminals are a short walk from each other and connected via a walkway on the baggage claim level. There is also a free shuttle that operates regularly.

Arrivals: Passengers traveling from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky arrive at the International Terminal. Travelers first proceed to passport control, where they present passports and prepared immigration forms (available on board the aircraft and in the terminal). Passengers then retrieve luggage and continue through Russian customs. Passengers connecting to Russian domestic flights, including the continuation of the Yakutia Airlines flight to Yakutsk, recheck their baggage at the Main Airport Terminal prior to proceeding to security screening. Passengers may check-in for domestic flights at the international terminal for an additional fee. Passengers with a long layover in Kamchatka who would like to explore the city or take an excursion may store their bags at the airport until flight departure.
