Yakutia Airlines Transports New Windshield for Stranded Cessna.

Yakutia Airlines inaugurated cargo service last week on its Alaska-Kamchatka route by delivering a critical item – a replacement windshield for a Cessna Citation Mustang. The light jet was on an around-the-world trip when it incurred damage to its windshield and was left grounded at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport. Logistics company BDP International routed the crated windshield from Cessna’s Wichita, Kansas plant to Yakutia Air’s ground and cargo handler in Anchorage, Pegasus Aviation Services, which successfully loaded it on last week’s flight.

Yakutia Airlines is accepting cargo for Thursday departures from Anchorage  through September 13. Contact AirRussia.US to reserve space for your cargo. At this time, the cargo service only operates westbound, from Anchorage to Kamchatka.
